The Classic Side Lift Ottoman Base offers the perfect combination of style, support, and smart storage. Expertly crafted in the UK by a National Bed Federation-approved manufacturer, it features a robust timber frame and a solid platform top—providing a supportive base for your mattress.
The smooth side-lift mechanism opens easily from the side of the bed, giving you generous storage space that’s perfect for bedding, seasonal items, or anything you want to keep neatly out of sight. Upholstered in your choice of 50+ premium fabrics, it’s easy to match with your existing bedroom décor.
Headboard sold separately. Our ottoman base is compatible with all of our upholstered headboards, which can be tailored in matching fabric for a seamless, stylish finish.

Storage Options
Need a bit more space? Our divan and ottoman bases are available in multiple configurations to suit your room layout and requirements:
- No Drawer – a clean, minimal look.
- 2 Drawer – perfect for storing everyday essentials.
- 2+2 Drawer - works well if you have bedside tables.
- 4 Drawer – great for shared rooms or extra storage.
- End Drawer – storage at the foot of the bed, ideal for occasional items.
- End Lift Ottoman – opens from the foot of the bed to reveal spacious, hidden storage.
- Side Lift Ottoman – opens from the side, ideal for tighter spaces or specific room layouts.
Each option offers easy access and helps keep your bedroom clutter-free.
Add Headboard
Complete your Classic Divan Bed Base with a matching headboard, available in a range of styles to suit your space. Choose from timeless buttoned designs or sleek, contemporary options.
Our standard floor standing headboards are 54" in height. Other sizes are also available, including 60" floor standing options, and 26" or 21" strutted designs.

Delivery
Standard
We offer free delivery on all orders to any UK mainland address and deliver Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm.
For Scottish postcodes beginning DD, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, PH & TD, we provide a 2 person delivery service as standard, ensuring your order is delivered safely to your room of choice. For all other postcodes, we provide a Doorstep Delivery service, where one driver will deliver items to the first accessible ground floor door of the premises.
Express Delivery
In addition to our standard delivery, we offer an express delivery service on selected products for those times when you need something sooner.
