What size is a double bed?

A standard double bed measures 135cm x 190cm (4'6" x 6'3").

What is the difference between a double bed and a queen?

In the UK, a double bed is smaller than a king-size bed, which measures 150cm x 100cm (5' x 6'6"). The term “queen” is not a standard UK size, but some people refer to small double beds as “queens”, which measures 120cm x 190cm (4' x 6'3"). In the US, a queen measures 152cm x 203cm, so it is ever so slightly larger than a standard UK double. 

Do double beds come with storage?
